Outfit #44

I would not have normally done an outfit today since it is not a school day, but I had to show my Wyoming support on this day.  The world lost a truly amazing man this morning, and even more importantly Wyoming lost its' biggest fan/supporter.  My grandfather was an avid supporter of the state and University of Wyoming  so on this day when he has passed, I am wearing my Wyoming shirt in his honor.  He taught me an endless number of lessons: hard work pays off, family is the most important thing, marriage vows trump all, volunteer when you can, nap everyday, and most importantly never miss a Pokes game.
I believe I waited so long to talk to you grandpa because you had so many life lessons to teach me first.  I cherish the times I spent with you and am eternally grateful to my parents for raising me around you and grandma.  I am so glad you are at peace now and with your Lord and Savior.  Love you grandpa!
Go Pokes!!!

Outfit #43

Hump day is actually our Friday this week! Woot woot!!!!  We have Thursday and Friday off for Teacher's Convention so we all wore jeans today since technically it is Friday!  I layered this light orange, long sleeve shirt with a cream cardigan and brown tank for depth.

Outfit #42

Tuesday Game Day!!
This outfit is so fun!!!!  Our volleyball team decided that we wanted to all wear colored pants with black shirts for one game.  Of course I didn't have any colored pants, so I HAD to go shopping (at least that is how I explained it to Travis)!!  I bought a couple pairs of skinny jeans (these ones are from JC Penny and the other pair is from Kohl's).  I also had to get 3 new shirts and a new dress while I was at it.  I had an issue with the plain black shirt thing so I paired my pants with this fun black and white polka dot shirt and wore a black cardigan.  These black boots are from WalMart and honestly the best pair I have ever found!!!!

Here is a photo without the black cover.

I love the little cutouts and bows at the neckline of this shirt!

I will post the team picture (we lined up like a rainbow) when it is sent to me!!!  So stinking cute!

Outfit #41

It seems that it is ALWAYS game day.  Today my C squad plays a tourney so I had to try for a little black and orange.  I went shopping this weekend and got this new shirt!  Love it!!!  It is from JCPenny and was only like $12!!!

Turns out the flats and capris were not such a good idea, as it was very chilly today!

Outfit #40

Friday was the last home football game so we all wore Falcon gear.  I think I have worn this shirt before but I wore different jeans.  These are Big Star jeans from Scheels but I do not love how they look with shoes.  I can't figure out the right pair of shoes for these jeans.

Outfit #39

Thursday: Game Day.
I know it doesn't look like any orange, but I am definitely saying that my shirt has an orange tint today! This shirt is from Pick Your Plum, a fun website that has a daily deal.  This shirt was like 65% off or something crazy like that! My black pants have white pin stripes that are hard to see, but add a nice touch.

I love, love this necklace and am so excited about how perfectly it matches this top!

Outfit #38

So the truth is, I had to look back at my blog this morning to make sure that I had not already worn this outfit.  It turns out I had already worn this blue skirt with a mint top.  To change it up a little bit today, I wore a different mint top with my favorite scarf that matches perfectly! I also added my jean jacket.

I found a new way to wrap my scarf on Pinterest: http://www.pinterest.com/pin/27092035230697940/
I did number 6.

Here is the other way I wore the skirt with mint top: Outfit #28

Outfit #37

It is game day and after about two full weeks at home, we are on the road today. We get to wear sweats and team shirts because we are traveling SO far.... 1 hour. Gasp! I know if you are from Wyoming that sounds like a joke but, nope, it is for real! This is our big travel for te season. :)

Outfit #36

I absolutely love this outfit!! The simple maxi skirt is from Target. It is a burgundy color which is nice because it goes well with a lot of tops. My cream shirt is also from Target and my jean jacket is old as can be! I love having layers to my outfits that actually show. Also, I love this necklace but struggle with what to wear it with; this was perfect!

Outfit #35

Today is spirit day at school.  We just got these new Falcon Football jackets in so I thought I should wear mine.  They are super nice (UnderArmor) but mine is a little big so I might have it taken in a smidge.

Outfit #34

Thursday: Game Day!
I had to try and get some orange and black in today since on Tuesday I was not very good for our game. The stripes on this shirt look light orange but they are more of a peach/pink color.  Close enough to orange in my book though!
My shirt is from a cool website called Stitch Fix.  You answer questions about your style, give them your sizes, pay $20 and they send you a box with 5 items they think you will like.  If you like them, you buy them; if not, you ship them back.  It is so fun! Like home shopping!  Check it out at: https://stitchfix.com/referral/3182395.  If you use that link, I will get credit.

I paired my new shirt with simple black pants, black boots, and gold jewelry.

I had to take a picture of this bracelet because this is the first outfit I have found that matches the peach in the bracelet!!

Last picture...  I had to take a picture of my hair today (even though it is not a very good one).  Our head coach always does a braid on the side into a cute bouffant so I thought I would try today because my hair is always flat by game time.  I think it is really going to work!  My goal is to start mixing up my hairstyles more so maybe I will have to start posting more pics of hair on here too!

Outfit #33

I was so tired this morning that I just wanted to make a simple, comfortable outfit today.  These dark blue pants look like dressy jeans but are actually dress pants (Target).  The surprise of the day was the number of compliments I received on this shirt.  This shirt is actually from high school.  I believe I got it my freshman or sophomore year.  I guess the saying is true: some things never go out of style. =)

Outfit #32

I love this outfit!  It could be my new favorite.  This black dress has sleeveless shoulders so I had to wear a cardigan over it for school.  I cinched the waste with a leopard print belt that was just below the ruffles on the front of the dress.  I wore simple, nude flats to keep the focus on the front of the dress and the belt.
